Play Tech Australia

Play Tech Australia is a growing technology clubs for young Autistic and Neurodiverse individuals who enjoy gaming, computers and engaging with technology.

Founded by Mark and Amanda – parents of two neurodiverse children – we understand the nuances of raising Autistic children.

A lot of care and attention has gone into creating a unique, relaxed, judgement free spaces that enable kids to be themselves, while also helping foster social engagement with their peers.

From the physical environment where we hold our sessions through to the facilitators and mentors handpicked to run our school term and holiday programs, no detail is overlooked.

All facilitators and mentors:

  • COVID19 Vaccinated
  • Hold current blue cards
  • Have completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module training
  • Are industry trained professionals including high school teachers
  • Skilled at communicating with the children in a very personable way

Sessions are:

  • Purposely kept to small group size
  • Participant led and unstructured with no specific learning expectations
  • Extra tools available to help children deregulate as and when they need
  • Held in environments that support the needs of neurodiverse children

Amanda is a successful business woman who runs her own Accounting Practice. She is mother to two autistic children. Her neurodiverse thinking and analytical skills ensured Play Tech runs smoothly.
